電子商務的架構
在電子商務的環境中，實際參與業者除了網路業者與消費者之外，金融單位與物流業者亦扮演了相當關鍵的角色（整體的運作架構如【附圖】所示）。網路業者成立網路商店，進行行銷、推廣，以吸引消費者前來參觀與購買所需的商品，在交易訂購時，網路商店先與銀行完成徵信／授權，然後接受消費者的線上付款，確定交易。當交易確認後，商店將商品交由物流業者配送到買方，然後依情況處理退貨、換貨，並提供售後服務等。

電子商務的特色 E-Commerce Features
電子商務的特色
**由於電子商務是透過網路上進行，因此有以下的特色：
**（1）資訊與交易無時間或地域限制：網際網路橫跨全世界，沒有上線時間的限制，因此建構在網際網路上的電子商務事業當然也兼具了相同的特性。
（2）買賣雙方資訊對稱性增加（低資訊成本）：電子商務各項產品的相關訊息都放置在網站上，資訊完全是公開的，買賣雙方在訊息上的不對稱將較低，因此能提高交易的效率。
（3）消費者選擇權增加：因網路上要瀏覽不同網站的轉換成本很低，而且相同性質的商店數量龐大，使得消費者可以選擇對本身最有利的商家，可以選擇的商品跟服務數量也大量增加。
（4）買賣雙方點對點的接觸（高行銷成本）：網路行銷雖然可以全年無休地運作，但是網路並無法被消費者實體拜訪，網路上也沒有鄰居或路過的客人，因此只能靠不斷打響網站的知名度來吸引消費者拜訪網站，行銷成本很高。
（5）低網路進入成本：網站建置容易，且可以迅速擴充，新競爭者要進入的障礙不高。
（6）無限網路擴充性：實體店面會受限於場地等實體條件（如特殊地段），不能快速大量擴充販賣的商品或服務，但電子商務無實體店面跟場地大小限制，可以近乎無限的擴充數量及產品線。如亞馬遜網路書店（Amazon.com）從原本的販賣書籍到現今的禮品、CD等，產品種類遠比實體商場多。
（7）低消費者轉換成本：先行者的優勢來自於購買者的轉換成本。電子商務的消費者在滑鼠按鍵之間即可轉換廠商，因此忠誠度較不易建立。

電子商務的定義
電子商務（Electronic Commerce）是指透過電腦與資訊網路來達到交換商品相關資訊及完成商品交易的活動。這裡所說的「商務」，主要包括了商務資訊、商務管理和商品交易。電子商務是網路技術與商業實務的結合，以科技來提升競爭力。 電子商務包含兩個層面的意涵：一是在技術層面，電子商務可以通過網路與電子通訊方式來完成資訊的交換，主要是在internet上進行的。二是商務活動層面，指生產、流通、分配、交換和消費等環節中連接生產和消費的活動。 從商業活動的角度分析，電子商務可以進一步分為「電子商情與資訊的交換」和「利用網際網路來進行商品的交易」。前者注重在資訊的查詢，後者則在網上將資訊流、商流、金流和部分的物流完整地實現。從尋找客戶開始，一直到洽談、訂貨、線上付（收）款、開據電子發票，到電子報關、電子納稅等，都在internet上一氣呵成。 由以上說明可以知道，電子商務的範圍涵蓋了以下的各項活動：
（1）資訊傳遞與交換；
（2）客戶的售前與售後服務，如提供產品和服務的資訊、產品使用技術指南及回答顧客問題等；
（3）線上商品交易；
（4）線上付費或電子支付，如電子轉帳、信用卡、電子支票、電子錢包等；
（5）商品的運送管理，如商品的配送、運輸追蹤以及數位產品（如音樂）在線上傳送；
（6）提高企業的策略合作，將由供應商到客戶的相關合作夥伴結合成一個策略聯盟。

電子商務（Electronic Commerce）是指透過電腦與資訊網路來達到交換商品相關資訊及完成商品交易的活動。這裡所說的「商務」，主要包括了商務資訊、商務管理和商品交易。電子商務是網路技術與商業實務的結合，以科技來提升競爭力。 電子商務包含兩個層面的意涵：一是在技術層面，電子商務可以通過網路與電子通訊方式來完成資訊的交換，主要是在internet上進行的。二是商務活動層面，指生產、流通、分配、交換和消費等環節中連接生產和消費的活動。 從商業活動的角度分析，電子商務可以進一步分為「電子商情與資訊的交換」和「利用網際網路來進行商品的交易」。前者注重在資訊的查詢，後者則在網上將資訊流、商流、金流和部分的物流完整地實現。從尋找客戶開始，一直到洽談、訂貨、線上付（收）款、開據電子發票，到電子報關、電子納稅等，都在internet上一氣呵成。 由以上說明可以知道，電子商務的範圍涵蓋了以下的各項活動：
（1）資訊傳遞與交換；
（2）客戶的售前與售後服務，如提供產品和服務的資訊、產品使用技術指南及回答顧客問題等；
（3）線上商品交易；
（4）線上付費或電子支付，如電子轉帳、信用卡、電子支票、電子錢包等；
（5）商品的運送管理，如商品的配送、運輸追蹤以及數位產品（如音樂）在線上傳送；
（6）提高企業的策略合作，將由供應商到客戶的相關合作夥伴結合成一個策略聯盟。
